Thanks for using LaunchPad for CivicTheme!

Let's just make sure we cross our ‘T’s’ and dot all our ‘I’s’ when using the LaunchPad tool and supporting applications and systems.

1. General

These terms outline the use of the Services as detailed below. Any access or use of Salsa Digital's Services or systems will be considered acceptance to these terms and conditions.

These terms can also be found on the launchpad.civictheme.io and govcms.civictheme.io systems.

Do not continue to use the Services if you do not agree to take all of the terms stated below.

2. Services

Salsa provides several solutions and systems for limited use including:

• Solutions
  • LaunchPad – the web hosting provisioning tool
  • Salsa Hosting – the web hosting infrastructure
  • CivicTheme – design system, component library, and visual theme
• Other systems – in part related to delivering the LaunchPad solution:
  • Laravel
  • GitHub
  • Lagoon
  • Quant

3. License

Unless otherwise stated, Salsa Digital owns the intellectual property rights for all material on its Solutions and Services. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from the Services for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms.

You must not:

• Republish material from the Services
• Sell, rent or sub-license material from the Services
• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from the Services
• Redistribute content from the Services

4. Data Privacy and content

Salsa Digital manages the Services and is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, subscribers and website visitors. 

We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. This policy details how we collect and treat your personal information.

Note that this system, although secure, does not meet any kind of security rating system such as that designated by the Australian Securities Directorate (ASD) under Australian Government data security frameworks. 

Any and all content used on the Services should be deemed suitable for public domain. 

5. Limitation of liability and indemnification

Salsa Digital shall not be held responsible for any content or data corruption or issues that appear on the final website system as a result of the Services.

Salsa Digital strongly recommends that all sites generated from the Services implement the ‘shield’ option to prevent unathorised public access to the website content and system, and that the access details be limited and only distributed as needed.

You agree to protect and defend Salsa Digital against all claims that may arise on the final website system. No link(s) should appear on any website that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

6. Termination /Duration environment/ Use

The provisioned website will be available to you, free of charge for 2 weeks/ 14 days. After this period you will have the option of paying for a; one off download or a monthly subscription to keep the website. If neither of these options is selected the website will expire and ALL CONTENT WILL BE DELETED.

The Services offer an opportunity for users to generate new websites. 

1. Salsa Digital does not filter, edit, publish or review input prior to their presence on the provisioned website.
2. You are responsible for ensuring the provisioned website does not invade any intellectual property right, including without limitation copyright, patent or trademark of any third party;
3. You are responsible for ensuring the provisioned website does not contain any defamatory, libelous, offensive, indecent or otherwise unlawful material which is an invasion of privacy
4. You are responsible for ensuring the provisioned website will not be used to solicit or promote business or custom or present commercial activities or unlawful activity.

7. Service fees and additional costs

The initial Service will be available free of charge for 14 days from the date of completing the LaunchPad tool webform. After the 14-day period the website will be expired and deleted including any content generated on the Service.

Additional fees will be charged for the following additional services:

1. Website Backup Service — this must be arranged before the site is expired
2. Website Hosting Extension — to maintain the operation of the website

Cost for these services are subject to change and can be made available from your Salsa representative. 

There are no refunds once the Service has been executed or implemented.
