CivicTheme is a government-grade design system that has been reviewed for WCAG 2.2 AA compliance. Although we know we can still make improvements, we've gone through a rigorous process to build and test the components with an accessibility-first mindset.
We used the following process:
- Tested using our Salsa accessibility starter kit(Opens in a new tab/window)
- Performed automated testing using ANDI(Opens in a new tab/window), aXe(Opens in a new tab/window) and Accessibility Insights(Opens in a new tab/window)
- Performed manual testing using keyboard, mouse and VoiceOver
